About us
Having been established for over 15 years, we have now made the exciting decision to merge and become a division within our sister company Wallace Timber Services Ltd. We will continue to trade under our own name but will benefit from the supply of quality firewood timber provided through Wallace Timber Services’ own mechanical tree dismantling works to be processed in our yard.
We are proud of the reputation we have built up and endeavour to maintain the highest possible standards. We pride ourselves on our commitment, to provide our customers with quality products at competitive prices.
We have plenty of ready to Burn Kiln dried hardwood logs available suitable for both log burners and open fires which are available throughout the year. Currently our logs are predominantly Ash, which is an excellent wood to use as firewood, producing a good amount of heat with a long burn time. Ash produces a steady flame, with good quality coals, and tends to burn relatively cleanly, with minimal smoke. There may be other hardwoods e.g. Oak and Alder in our loads, but never Chestnut which although is fine for wood burners it is not suitable for open fires due to its propensity to spit!
We won’t have any barn dried logs ready to offer until later this year.
Delivering to: Liphook, Liss, Petersfield, Haslemere, Godalming, Guildford, Shalford, Farnham, Frensham, Cranleigh and all surrounding areas.
Free delivery within 10 miles of Haslemere on orders over £45 (free delivery applicable only to kerb side drops or tipped logs onto property driveway).
Stacking service also provided if required, at an additional charge.

I ran out of firewood during the cold spell in February 2019, I contacted the Haslemere log man expecting them to be very busy which they were, I was expecting to have to wait for a load but to my amazement it was delivered the day after next. Also the wood is outstanding, all hardwood, cut to right length for our wood burner and most importantly it’s dry! Fantastic service from these guys, now in my phone book as number 1 wood supplier
